Snap out of it?

I’m happy depression is getting more out in the open, and people are more aware of it, but I still find it difficult to talk about it. Not only because of the reason behind it is still difficult to say out loud, but also because most people either treat you as if you are damaged (okay, I am, but no reason to treat me differently) or lose patience. If I could snap out of it, don’t you think I would have?
